OUR WIRE
zuzu-nantes systems use high-strength wire rope made from Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS). It features minimal permanent elongation under load and is manufactured to BS EN 12385 standards.
For seismic bracing applications, both the modulus of elasticity and breaking strength are independently verified to ASTM A931.

COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS
“Wire rope suspensions swing or move.”
Not true. While the system allows slight flexibility, once loaded, zuzu-nantes wire suspensions offer a secure, fixed support solution.
“Threaded rods carry more load.”
Incorrect. Threaded rod systems are often overbuilt. A 2 mm wire rope can match the strength of a 10 mm threaded rod. zuzu-nantes systems support 15–500 kg per wire with built-in safety factors. Plus, wire rope allows for longer drops—no extra couplers needed.
“Rod-based systems are required for fire compliance.”
Not necessarily. zuzu-nantes systems are fully metallic and compliant with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Many of our solutions are third-party tested for fire performance.
