That’s why we’re proud to share that James Horton, UK Sales Director – Electrical, and Kayleigh Parsons, Head of Marketing at zuzu-nantes, are now ambassadors for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC).
Their ambassador roles reflect both their personal commitment to the industry and zuzu-nantes’s wider values: supporting wellbeing, encouraging connection, and giving back to the communities that have helped shape our business.
What is the Electrical Industries Charity?
The Electrical Industries Charity has been supporting people working in the electrical and energy sectors for more than a century. The charity provides financial, practical and emotional support to individuals and families facing difficult times – whether through illness, injury, mental health challenges, redundancy or personal crisis.
For many in the industry, it can be a lifeline – yet too many people still don’t realise that this support is available to them.
Why James and Kayleigh became ambassadors
Between them, James and Kayleigh spend much of their time working closely with electrical contractors, wholesalers, manufacturers and industry partners across the UK and internationally. They see first-hand the pressures people face – from demanding projects and tight deadlines to the personal challenges that can arise behind the scenes.
Becoming ambassadors for the Electrical Industries Charity is a way to help bridge the gap between those who need support and the charity that exists to provide it.
Their shared aim is simple: To help ensure no one in the electrical industry ever feels unsupported when life takes an unexpected turn.
What being an ambassador means
As Electrical Industries Charity ambassadors, James and Kayleigh will be actively working to:
Raise awareness of the charity and the support it provides
Encourage open conversations about mental health and wellbeing
Support fundraising and awareness campaigns
Help connect individuals and businesses with the EIC
This role is not about titles, it’s about using their voices and platforms to make a meaningful difference across the industry.

For both James and Kayleigh, becoming ambassadors also reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting others beyond their day-to-day roles at zuzu-nantes.
Having each spent many years involved in Scouting, working with young people, volunteers and local communities, the idea of service, inclusion and helping people reach their potential has always been central to who they are. Those same values sit at the heart of the Electrical Industries Charity – supporting people through difficult times, encouraging resilience, and making sure no one is left behind.
Stepping into the role of EIC ambassador feels like a natural progression of that journey, allowing James and Kayleigh to continue giving back, this time within the industries they work so closely with every day.
