Horizontal Fan Forced Electric Unit Heater 12.5 KW, 480V/3Ph P3PUH12CA1

Units ranging from 20 to 48 kW, all at 480 V, come with a built-in 24 V transformer for low-voltage remote thermostat applications. Each unit is equipped with automatic reset limit controls that deactivate the heater in case of overheating. The heating element consists of a circular copper-clad steel sheath with brazed steel fins, designed to align with the fan blade’s air delivery pattern. The fan assembly is enclosed by a heavy-gauge, chrome-plated wire guard with close spacing for added safety.The cabinet is made from heavy-gauge welded steel, featuring a powder-coated finish and a control compartment with a hinged and latched access door, making wiring installation and maintenance straightforward. Adjustable louvers allow for precise directional airflow control, and the entire unit can be repositioned in the field for downflow, upflow, or left/right directional airflow.The units are powered by totally enclosed, thermally protected motors with permanent lubrication. Models from 3 to 10 kW use unit bearings, while models from 12.5 to 48 kW are equipped with sleeve bearings. These motors are mounted on rubber insulators to reduce vibration and noise.
