I ordered these for my Dewalt 1/2″ impact DCF899 which originally came with the hog-ring anvil. The hog-ring is nice but at times it is awkward to get the sockets on and off. I much prefer the detent anvil as it is just like a socket wrench easier to get sockets on and off. The replacement is exactly like factory in size and quality. It is easy to replace just take out the 4 screws that hold the nose on the tool, and pop the old anvil out, and the new one in, replace the nose and tighten the screws, and that’s it you’re finished. I highly recommend this if you have broken the original anvil or just want to change to the detent anvil like I did. A great value since you get 2 incase you damage one or give it a to a friend who also has the impact. Literally a 5 minute swap so super easy.
