HHT SRV33271 Outside Air Shield Vent

Original gas fireplace vent was brittle from sunshine and the sides were broke off. This replacement fit perfectly. I was not able to find this vent at any local DIY type store, or the local lumber store, or at the company that installed my gas fireplace. I was pleased to be able to order it delivered to my house. $21 seems a bit expensive for plastic, but it is a perfect replacement. I did attach fine mesh screen to the plastic grid, using small zip ties, to prevent mud dobbers from entering and plugging up the vent like they did before. They are drawn to the smell of the LP gas, I am told.
